This charter formalises our commitment to you in a transparent manner and describes how 47 Woolshed Road uses your personal data.

2.    WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED?

At various times, we will be obliged to ask you, for information about you and/or members of your family, such as:

  • Contact details (e.g. last name, first name, telephone number, email)

  • Personal information (e.g. date of birth, nationality)

  • Information relating to your children (e.g. first name, date of birth, age)

  • Information relating to your pets (e.g. type, age)

  • Your credit card number (for transaction and reservation purposes)

  • Your arrival and departure dates

  • Your preferences and interests, so you receive the best experience

  • Your questions/comments, during or following a stay

The information collected in relation to persons under 18 years of age is limited to their name, nationality and date of birth, which can only be supplied to us by an adult. We would be grateful if you could ensure that your children do not send us any personal data without your consent (particularly via the Internet). If such data is sent, you can contact the us via stay@47woolshedroad.com.au to arrange for this information to be deleted.

We do not deliberately collect sensitive information, such as information concerning race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, union membership, or details of health or sexual orientation.

Moreover, depending on applicable local laws, other information could be considered sensitive, such as your credit card number, your leisure activities, personal activities and hobbies, and whether or not you are a smoker. We may be obliged to collect such information in order to meet your requirements or provide you with an appropriate service, such as a specific diet.

In this case, depending on the laws in force in certain countries, your prior consent may be required with regard to the collection of sensitive information.

We are not solely responsible for the information, fees and regulations providers by those individual providers. 6.    DATA SECURITY

47 Woolshed Road takes appropriate technical and organisational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to protect your personal data against illicit or accidental destruction, accidental alteration or loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. To this end, we have taken technical measures (such as firewalls) and organisational measures (such as a user ID/password system, means of physical protection etc.).

When you submit credit card data when making a reservation, Stripe.com encryption technology is used to guarantee a secure transaction.

7.    GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

47 Woolshed Road operates in a safe and transparent manner to all of their guests. In 2018, the GDPR was released in the EU and was initiated in order to protect privacy and data. Please see attached for more information on this policy: https://gdpr.eu/

Although we do not, and will not actively store personal information for marketing purposes, some platforms will keep personal information on record. Additionally, we will have access to information regarding your booking and anything relevant to your time of stay.

8.    EXTERNAL WEBSITES

We have integrated into our website a large list of local providers to ensure your stay is a wonderful one. Please note however that these websites and links are not closely monitored or controlled by us, and therefore it is no responsibility of 47 Woolshed Road for the content, information or transactions executed on these external websites.

If you notice anything that may be unsafe or not working, please contact us so we can notify the relevant provider.

 

9.    PERSONAL INFORMATION

There are a number of ways to restrict the use of your personal information when you are on our website:

  • ‘Unclick’ the request to receive marketing, promotions, offers and other material when you are making a booking or contacting us

  • If you have previously subscribed, but you would like to opt out. Please email stay@47woolshedroad.com.au so we can remove you from our mailing list

Under no circumstance will we distribute or sell your personal information to third parties, unless you have provided permission or we are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotions, updates, marketing material or offers in which we think would be relevant to you.
